  • The last two weeks have been a real emotional rollercoaster, and I’m still reeling from it. I hope things quieten down soon in my brain.
  • After a lot of work events, I’m looking forward to settling back into a routine this week. I’ve been slowly regaining my bearings and reminding myself of the two things I wanted to focus on this year — attention and physical endurance.
  • So the social media apps and streaming services have been uninstalled once again and I’m back to books, podcasts, and long walks for some much needed mind wandering.
  • I’m currently reading Brave New World and it’s eh. Not really my cup of tea. But I think I’ll give Island a try after a few months, simply because of this excerpt I was really comforted by.
  • After making it to the final few weeks of the Couch to 5K program but simply not being able to progress from a 20 minute run to a 25 minute run, I’m now attempting Nike Run Club’s 5K training plan. It has a lot of speed runs which I’m enjoying tremendously!
  • I refreshed my hair colour with the last of my pink dye and Mitali made a silly little reel documenting my mess.
  • I also finally got around to watching Everything Everywhere All at Once and was delighted by it (may also have shed a single tear). We didn’t get to watch it in the theatre, but Monami and I got the next best thing by screening it on the projector at the Obvious office. Super fun, I think we should do stuff like that more often.
  • I am tired.
